Hello! Nice to meet you!
I am a Grand Rapids, Michigan native now residing in Aurora, Colorado! I obtained a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University (PhD-ABD in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology). Before my doctoral studies, I completed a BA in Psychology with honors and distinction at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and an AA in psychology with honors at Grand Rapids Community College.
My professional passions are teaching psychology to diverse student populations and developing curriculum for face-to-face and online modalities. My role as Psychology Faculty at the Community College of Aurora is rich in opportunities to pursue these interests, and the community of Aurora has welcomed me with more warmth than I could have ever imagined. I am proud to not only teach and serve this institution but also contribute to the progress of this community.
When I'm not focusing on classes, teaching, and research, you can find me running, biking, and hiking 14ers!
I invite you to explore more about my qualifications and teaching practice. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or discuss mutual interests!
